Judith is a musicologist and president of Judith Finell MusicServices Inc.  She previously served as a consultant and expert witness in music copyright infringement cases, and was the testifying expert for the Marvin Gaye family in the “Blurred Lines” case in Federal Court.  She and her team regularly advise companies such as HBO, Lionsgate, CBS, Warner, Disney and Sony Pictures on musical works for commercials, films, and television series.  Judith has taught the only forensic musicology course in the country at UCLA since 2019.
