Greene of Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles will discuss his analyses of inequitable music industry contracts using a case study of R&B singer Ruth Brown, whose output was so prolific and profitable that Atlantic Records (now known as Warner Brothers) was known as “the house that Ruth built.”
