Fall Happy Hour with the Paralegal Committee – October 5, 2022
The IPLAC Paralegal Committee is delighted to have hosted our first in-person event since 2019. We met on Wednesday, October 5, at One North Kitchen for a networking happy hour. A blend of 7 paralegals, law students, and attorneys were present and a great time was had by all. It was a beautiful night to step out and connect with other Chicago IP professionals.
IP Happy Hour in the ‘Burbs – October 19, 2022
The first meeting of the IP in the ‘Burbs took place October 19, 2022 at More Brewing in Villa Park. The unique venue boosts a wide array of local beers and the best food served at any microbrewery. The event attracted IPLAC members who work and live in the western suburbs. Passionate discussions about career paths for IP attorneys and patent agents provide that everyone takes their own journey. The next IP in the ‘Burbs will be on December 15 from 4 to 8 pm at Hop District Brewing in La Grange Park, IL.
Happy Hour Meet and Greet with the Trademarks & Anti-Counterfeiting and Copyright Committees – October 20, 2022
On October 20, the Trademarks & Anti-Counterfeiting and Copyright Committees partnered together to host a happy hour at City Winery Riverwalk. Members of both Committees, including Committee Chairs, had a blast heading out of the office early on a beautiful fall day and getting to know each other over good conversation and drinks. A strong turnout of students from local law schools also added to the good times. More to come from both Committees!
